WE’RE GEM & TAZ. WE’RE HERE TO HELP YOU
EMBRACE RADICAL VIBRANCY
We won’t take up your time by making you read our bios, however, if you do want a sneaky look at our list of credentials and achievements keep scrolling down. On paper, they’re relatively impressive (if we do say so ourselves 😊) but we’ll be honest, in the past, they came at a cost. We have been through the wringer too. Between us, we may have a PhD, a Hollywood-busting documentary, a global movement, two 7-figure businesses and 16 awards (not to mention 5 kids, 2 step-kids and a gazillion hilarious dating stories), but we also have two divorces, five heartbreaks, seven career changes, one bad business break-up and (approximately) 72 burn-outs to our credit (the adrenal kind, not the rubber-on-the-road variety).
We have been through the wringer too. It’s safe to say that the last few years have felt like one of those rough & tumble days in the ocean where you desperately try to catch your breath but keep getting dumped by huge and seemingly never-ending waves. You end up exhausted, discombobulated and with sand in places it shouldn’t be.
We’re happy to say that we’ve both emerged into calm and joyous sunshine after our own dark nights of the soul. We learned a lot while we were rinsing sand from our nether regions. We grew a lot. We somehow stumbled upon a recipe for embracing radical vibrancy. And we’re here to teach you what we learned, which is this:
A RADICALLY VIBRANT LIFE IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT
… AND IT CAN BE YOUR REALITY.
ABOUT GEM & TAZ
Dr Gemma Munro is a thought leader, high-performance coach and award-winning speaker, with a PhD in performance psychology and a flair for helping people live radically vibrant lives.
Winner of the Duncan Prize for speaking and a two-time Telstra Businesswoman of the Year finalist, Gemma is known as a catalyst for tears, laughter and a-ha moments. The founder of Inkling Women, Gemma has inspired over 68,000 people around the world, and her keynote at Google headquarters in Silicon Valley was live-streamed to every Google office on the planet.
As a classically trained singer, Gemma has performed in Westminster Abbey, Radio City Music Hall and, somewhat heart-stoppingly, to 53,000 screaming fans as a backing vocalist for the Rolling Stones. She lives in the Adelaide Hills with her partner Ben Barnett and their exceptionally loving, sometimes exhausting and usually hungry blended tribe of three children and five chickens.
Taryn Brumfitt is here to change the world! She is the fiercely passionate thought leader behind the Body Image Movement, the Director of the inspiring documentary Embrace and a three-times bestselling author. She is also a world-recognised speaker, an Australian of the Year finalist and was named alongside Emma Watson and Beyonce in Germany’s Woman of the Year.
Taryn’s fire in the belly has seen her bump Baby Shark off the iTunes number 1 song, direct a film that has been viewed by millions across the globe and her work has been recognised by United Nations Women, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls, the Geena David Institute and Ashton Kutcher who famously praised her activism as “good for the world”.
Voted as General Electric’s highest rated speaker, Taryn is a sought-after impact producer for creative organisations and individuals, she is known for her ridiculous amounts of energy and making the impossible - possible. When not making waves, she can be found in the suburbs of Adelaide, eating dumplings, jumping off jetties and snuggling her three children.
